The volunteer will pick up bread from Liv Breads at 184 Essex St, Millburn, NJ 07041. Drive around to the back (driveway just past the front entrance). Tell them you are there for the bread for GRACE bread donation pickup.
Leave room in your car for several large bags of bread, then drop off the donation at the Summit Community Center, 100 Morris Ave. Once at the Community Center please bring the bagels in and store in the refrigerator labeled Bread Donations.
Please note that GRACE Weekly Distribution is now at The Summit Community Center at 100 Morris Ave in Summit on Thursdays.
We need 1 volunteer every Tuesday and Wednesday at 3pm to complete this opportunity.
Note that this opportunity requires a vehicle/driver to transport food, but you are always welcome to bring your child(ren) along to help with pickup and drop off.

Many hands make light work and GRACE needs YOUR help to assist families in need in our community. There are many opportunities for you to help. Thursday mornings we unload the truck from the Community Food Bank, bag produce, and prepare for distribution. We need several volunteers to drive their vehicles to addresses in Summit to deliver groceries to people who can't make it to distribution. Distribution (handing out groceries to people in the community who come to GRACE) is on Thursdays. There are also opportunities to pick up bread and bagel donations, and collect donations during the week. Please review the available opportunities and sign up, or reach out to let us know how you'd like to share your talents. Thank you!
